Purely Kentucky, Proudly Local.
Born out of the dream of building a first generation farm a, fueled by the desire for something greater than a 9-5 and guided by Christ, Firefly Farms is an opportunity to feed our communities with food that you can be proud to fuel your own fire.
Nestled on a part of Squire Boone’s land, the farm was originally built in the 1930s as the Smith farm. In the 1940s the farm was used as a way to grow food for Americans during World War II. It was farmed by German P.O.W.s, most of which were captured in North Africa under Rommel’s command.
Since then, the farm has undergone many changes, but the goal remains the same: provide farm fresh food to the community.
Today we have evolved into a farm that offers:
Local vegetables, fruits, herbs, flowers, baked goods and meat.
Flowers and arrangements for any occasion.
Rustic photography backdrops.
We can’t wait to work with you!
